Matt – Our Office Manager at Rib Mountain Oral Surgery! 

We’re excited to welcome Matt to the Rib Mountain Oral Surgery family as our new Office Manager!

Matt brings the perfect blend of heart and hustle to the front lines of our practice. With an impressive 26 years of experience in finance and leadership, along with recent work in healthcare staffing, Matt is passionate about supporting people—whether it’s patients, team members, or the greater community.

His mission?

To lead with kindness, keep our office running smoothly, and make sure every patient feels like family.

Outside the Office

When he’s not keeping everything on track at the practice, Matt enjoys life with his wife Chris in Marshfield, WI. They love cheering on their three amazing kids across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa, and especially spending time with their granddaughter Josie—who, let’s be honest, runs the show 

Giving Back

Matt is also passionate about giving back to causes that matter. He’s actively involved with the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, an organization close to his heart and one he proudly supports.

We’re thrilled to have Matt leading our team with compassion, experience, and a genuine commitment to care. Be sure to say hi when you stop in—you’ll see why we’re so lucky to have him!

Amanda RN — The Nurse and care concierge at  Rib Mountain Oral Surgery Team

We’re excited to welcome Amanda to the Rib Mountain Oral Surgery family!

With an impressive 18 years of nursing experience, Amanda brings a wealth of expertise in oral surgery, pediatric ICU, and cardiology. Her passion lies in delivering high-quality, compassionate care—while supporting patients and colleagues every step of the way. 

Amanda is thrilled to join our warm, patient-focused environment and looks forward to making a positive impact from day one.

Outside the Office

When she’s not in the surgical suite, Amanda enjoys relaxing at the lake with her family—and their sweet pup, Murray! 

We’re proud to have Amanda on board and can’t wait for you to meet her. Her skill, kindness, and calm presence make her a wonderful addition to the RMOS team.

Brynya Joosten, Certified Surgical Technologist

We’re thrilled to introduce Brynya Joosten, Certified Surgical Technologist, as the newest member of the Rib Mountain Oral Surgery team!

With over 13 years of experience in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Brynya brings exceptional precision, skill, and dedication to every procedure. Her unique background in both dental support and operating room care means our patients benefit from the highest level of clinical expertise and compassion.

Brynya is passionate about delivering a comfortable, seamless experience for each and every patient. From prep to recovery, she’s committed to making your visit as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Life Outside the OR

When she’s not in the surgical suite, you’ll find Brynya out adventuring with her family—exploring hidden hiking trails, seeking out new foodie finds, and soaking up the great outdoors.

We’re so excited to have Brynya on board and can’t wait for you to meet her. Her experience, energy, and patient-first mindset make her an incredible addition to our RMOS family.

Hannah Schmidtke- Surgical Assistant

A proud Merrill native and graduate of Northcentral Technical College, Hannah holds a degree in Dental Assisting and brings a kind heart, a positive attitude, and a true passion for patient care to everything she does.

She’s committed to making every patient feel comfortable, supported, and well-cared-for throughout their visit.

Outside the Office

When she’s not assisting in the clinic, Hannah enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, creating memories and sharing laughs.
